About Auto Insurance Renewal Ledger

An independent, privacy-first consumer utility suite engineered to help US auto insurance policyholders understand, compare, normalize, and audit their policy declaration pages, renewal bills, and competing quotes.

Why We Built This

Car insurance documents are deliberately complex. Every carrier uses proprietary terminology, obfuscates rate revisions behind altered installment fees, and shifts deductibles between quotes to simulate price reductions. Meanwhile, typical online comparison websites are commercial lead brokers designed to capture personal phone numbers and sell them to call centers.

Auto Insurance Renewal Ledger was created to offer an ethical alternative: a zero-server, zero-lead-gen, mathematical comparison suite that operates entirely within the user's browser, citing exact page numbers and verbatim text from the documents they already possess.

100% In-Browser Privacy

Zero documents, names, VINs, policy numbers, or premium figures are ever transmitted to a server. PDF text parsing is performed via client-side WebAssembly (pdfjs-dist) loaded locally into memory.

Deterministic Normalization

We categorize every policy field into a 4-state deterministic model: Same, Different, Not Detected, or Needs Confirmation. We never guess or hallucinate unstated coverages.

Zero Commercial Conflicts

We do not sell insurance, accept carrier referral commissions, generate live quotes, or sell user telemetry. Our tools analyze only the user's provided records with objective mathematical transparency.

Editorial Standards & Primary Research

All educational guides, statutory state minimums, valuation dispute methodologies, and glossary terms published across this platform are developed using authoritative primary regulatory sources:

Statutory Codes & Department of Insurance

Our 50-state regulatory engine cites specific state insurance statutes, administrative codes (e.g. CA Prop 103, NY Insurance Law § 2335, MA 211 CMR 134), and official DOI complaint mechanisms.

Insurance Services Office (ISO) Standards

Our coverage normalizer maps proprietary carrier labels to standard ISO Personal Auto Policy provisions (ISO Form PP 00 01 Parts A through F).

Licensing & Regulatory Standing

Auto Insurance Renewal Ledger is an independent consumer software utility and research organization. We are not a licensed insurance agency, brokerage, insurance company, or licensed public adjusting firm.

  • We do not solicit, negotiate, execute, or bind insurance policies.
  • We do not act as an agent or representative for any insurance carrier or consumer.
  • We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or lead-generation bounties.
  • Our tools perform mathematical analysis and document formatting on records the consumer already holds.
Revenue Model & Privacy Guarantee

This platform is provided as a free public utility for US policyholders. We do not sell consumer telemetry, phone numbers, or insurance records. Document analysis is performed entirely in-browser using WebAssembly.

Strict Non-Advice & Informational Boundary

Auto Insurance Renewal Ledger is an independent software tool, not a licensed insurance agency, broker, underwriter, or claims adjuster. Our tools perform arithmetic document reconciliation and do not provide legal, tax, claims, or financial advice. A declaration page is an informational summary, not the full insurance contract. Consumers should always verify policy terms with their licensed carrier or state insurance commissioner.
